are in need of a truck and driver for transport and volunteers to help load the
truck. Flyers have been distributed requesting the following items: Hygiene
supplies, linens, towels and wash clothes, children's books, comic books,
puzzles, clean stuffed animals, dog & cat food, blankets, diapers, baby
wipes, disposable baby bottles, toilet paper, canned & dried food for the
shelters, coloring books & crayons, small toys. Please pass this information
on. Thank you for showing that you care about our neighbors in St. Nazianz. Any

05/16/00 My
10 yr old daughter is a 4th grader at Helen Keller Elementary School,
Green Bay. She has
been watching the news regarding the storm that hit St.
Nazianz. We
explained to her that we are unable to help with the clean up. She
would like to
organize a disaster relief program at her school. I have spoke
to American Red
Cross, Salvation Army & Fox 11(GB). I have been told only
thing needed at
this time is cash donations. I told her to run a penny drive.
Her concern is the
children that have been effected by the disaster. She
feels that there
are some things they should have to help them to feel
better. She is
afraid the money will be used for things that they need (which
it should) &
not things that may make them feel better. Her list of items
include books to
help pass time, stuffed animals & blankets to cuddle, clothes
& shoes that
they have lost. I see list from Salvation Army at 4pm on 5/16/00
stating some items
needed. I have a truck donated. School is out in couple of weeks.
Please let my daughter help in some way. She has a heart of gold!
