May 16: "My son was working at a log building site on Sinawa Road when the skies started to darken the day of the storm. The guys packed up their tools and started heading for home, and these 3 photos [above] of the storm were taken on the way home on Marken Road."

June 7:  [this] "was my parent's rental unit, located on Marken Rd (not CTH J), which will be demolished shortly."  -- Adam Schwoerer

Agronomic damage from the May 12th storm was widespread in central Manitowoc County. Alfalfa fields like this one received extensive damage, with the first cutting being a total loss. ----UWEX

Dairy calves in these calf hutches survived the May 12th storm that leveled the 80-year-old barn next to them.  -UWEX

More than a dozen heifers needed to be destroyed after 100+ mile and hour winds blew through the area.  -- UWEX

Y2K helped farmers prepare for the loss of power experienced during the May 12th storm.  -- UWEX

Silo bags resembled swiss cheese as golf-ball size hail punctured holes in the covers. Each bag contained up to 200 tons of feed valued between $4,000-$8,000, depending on the crop stored.  -- UWEX

The picture of the hailstones was taken four hours after the hail.  Considering that it rained and the day was warm, the stones were really large in the beginning to have this much left of them four hours later.  -- CP

One corner of our house that was damaged.  It shows the hail that covered the ground like snow. -- CP

.... the floor in our porch-storeroom where the window was completely shattered.  We are still finding glass embedded in the walls and door frames.  -- CP
